Hundreds of students took part in the anti-Israeli protest at Kashmir University on Tuesday during which the protesters also raised anti-India slogans.

Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani called for protests against Israeli aggression in Palestine.

After Zuhur prayers hundreds of students from different departments gathered inside campus and started protests against Israeli bombings on Gaza, Palestine that left more than 180 civilians dead and hundreds injured. It was an out pour of anger and anguish. An eye eyewitness told Kashmir Life that the protesters chanted not only ant-Israel slogans but anti-India as well.

The protesters marched around the premises before dispersing peacefully.

Anti-Israel protests are a routine in Kashmir ever since the latest aggression on Gaza started.
