SRINAGAR: The administration in Baramulla has directed all Patwaris in Baramulla and Narwav tehsils to remain present at their respective offices and Patwar Khanas during working hours from October 22, warning that any failure to comply will be viewed seriously.
The order, issued by Tehsildar Baramulla on October 21, follows directions from the Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, and aims to ensure the smooth delivery of public services and prevent inconvenience to residents.
According to the order, the administration has observed that people are facing difficulties due to the non-availability of the concerned officials. All Patwaris have consequently been instructed to ensure their presence at their designated offices and address public grievances promptly.
The Tehsildar has directed strict compliance with the instructions, describing the matter as “most urgent”.
