SRINAGAR: Security forces on Monday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in Nowgam Verinag area of Dooru in South Kashmir’s Annatnag.
Quoting official sources news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the recovery was made during a search and cordon operation jointly conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir police, CRPF and Army’s 19 RR in Nowgam Verinag.
They said that the recovery includes 1 AK 56, 03 Chinese Grenades and pouch.
“A case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up,” they said.
