A hideout was busted in Handwara by police and army in a joint operation wherein a cache of arms and ammunition was recovered. Police spokesman said that acting on a specific information, Handwara police along with 21 RR launched a search operation in the forest area of Darashpora and recovered huge cache of Arms and Ammunition.
Police said that the recoveries included 10 AK56 rifles, 01 AK 47 rifle, 01 Pica rifle, 12 RGP rounds, 12 Chinese Grenade, 447 AK47 rounds, 40 Pika rounds, 05 AK 47 magazines. Police has registered a case and investigation is on.
