SRINAGAR: A young Army Captain passed away due to “medical conditions” in the Akhnoor area of Jammu, officials said on Sunday.
“The officer, Captain Rudra Pratap Singh, reportedly collapsed suddenly and was immediately taken to Military Hospital Akhnoor late last evening. However, he succumbed to his condition,” officials said.
Captain Singh, a native of Varanasi, will be laid to rest with full military honours in his hometown tomorrow, they added. (GNS)
