On Monday, school authorities of Army Goodwill School, Ayathmullah Bandipora, held a grand welcome party for their student, Tajamul Islam, who recently became World Champion in Kick Boxing.
A huge gathering of students and staff members welcomed Tajamul, who was visiting her school first time after winning the title. Students also chanted slogans in her praise.
“She is my little champion. She has brought glory to her country. I am sure she will achieve greater heights in the future,” said Col. Hainaut Singh Dhillon of 14 RR, who was the chief guest of the event, while facilitating the champion.
Later Col. Singh presented Tajamul with a victory trophy on the behalf of school.
