With clouds covering the sky in Kashmir, the regional office of Indian Metrological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain/snow at a few places in the upper region of Kashmir on Monday.

Sonum Lotus, director at regional centre of IMD at Srinagar told Kashmir Life, “There will be no rain or snow in Srinagar city but the visibility will remain low up to November 24. Rain or snow is expected at higher regions of the state only.”

The weather forecast for coming seven days: in Kashmir, the rain/snow is predicted at scattered places on November 21. And it will occur at isolated places in Jammu and Ladakh regions. The same weather is expected for November 25 as well.

In Srinagar, the weather man has predicted cloudy sky with poor visibility for today with minimum temperatures at around 12 degree celsius and 2 degree celsius.

For Jammu, weather man has predicted the sky will remain cloudy with maximum and minimum temperatures of 10 degree celsius and 13 degree celsius.

For Ladakh, weather man has predicted the sky will remain cloudy with maximum and minimum temperatures at around 10 degree celsius and minus 4 degree celsius.

The rain/snow is predicted at isolated places of upper reaches for all the three regions of state on November 22, 24 and 26. The weather will remain dry on November 23 and 27 in all the three regions of state.

The IMD’s regional office has said there is no weather warning for next five days in the state.
