At least two persons were killed and five injured after a tree fell on a passenger vehicle near Banihal on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Monday.
An eyewitness told Kashmir Life that, “A tree fell on a Tavera passenger car near Magerkote – 17 km from Banihal. The vehicle was on way to Jammu from Islamabad in south Kashmir.”
The vehicle was completely damaged which resulted in death of two passengers while five others were injured.
The deceased have been identified as Kuldeep Kumar of Noushera and Gulzar Ahmad Dar of Mattan, Islamabad. The injured have been shifted to Ramsoo hospital for treatment.
