Reacting over the Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly speaker and senior leader of BJP Nirmal Sing’s comment that army is harassing the people, Jammu and Kashmir former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday said that why is not any prime time debate over the issue, adding that these things do not matter when it comes from BJP leaders.

Taking to his twitter handle Omar wrote “J&K Speaker accuses the Indian army of harassing him. Any prime time discussions planned around this accusation or do these things not matter when the words are spoken by BJP leaders?.”

Earlier, Nirmal Singh had accused Army of “harassing” people after an army raised objections over the construction of his house next to an ammunition depot in Nagrota.
