KL Report

SRINAGAR

State Secretary, Communist Party of India (Marxist) Muhammad Yousf Tarigami Monday reiterated that there should be a thorough probe into ‘topple report’ as the involvement of Army in civil administration would have wider implications. Meanwhile, Chairman, Peoples Democratic Front, Hakim Muhammad Yasin said that whosoever would be found guilty should be punished within the limits of law.

Tarigami told CNS that soon after the report was leaked, he was the first person demanding thorough probe into the matter. “The matter is serious and it has wider implications. People have right to know about the details and the matter should be thoroughly probed,” Tarigami said.

Hakim Muhammad Yasin expressed concern over the report and said that it would lead to disaster if Army would start showing interest in civil affairs. “Such acts on part of Army leads to alienation and the matter should be thoroughly probed,” Yasin said.

He further said that if allegation leveled against some person are proved then they should be booked and punished.
