As per reports, a junior commissioned officer of army was allegedly killed in firing by Pakistan in Nowgam sector at the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday.
“Pakistan started firing at Indian posts at 1:00am on Tuesday killing the Army officer,” reports said. “The official was hit by a sniper fire from the Pakistani side when he came out of his bunker.”
Pertinently, there has been a considerable rise in ceasefire violation at the LoC by Pakistan in the recent past.
