An army man was injured on Tuesday in Pakistan firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
“The army man has been identified as Captain Bangoria, who was injured in Pakistan firing in Chakan Da Bagh area of the LoC in Poonch district. However, Bangoria was airlifted for treatment to Jammu city where attending doctors have described his condition as stable,” Indian Express reported.
Reports said that Pakistan violated the ceasefire with heavy firing on Indian forces, resulting in firing exchanges till late evening.
Pertinent to mention, Seven Pakistan soldiers were killed on Monday across the LoC during the fire exchange.
