Following an exchange of fire between the armies of India and Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in district Rajouri’s Nowshera sector, an army porter posted at the forward location was injured in the firing on Friday.
Reports said that an army porter identified as Surjeet Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Deeing village of Kalal, in Nowshera was posted at in Kalal-a forward location of LoC in Nowshera when he sustained injuries.
Meanwhile, official sources said that Kumar was shifted to army hospital soon after he received injuries and is undergoing as treatment.
