SRINAGAR: An army soldier was killed on Sunday due to an accidental fire in Kishtwar district.
Official said that an army soldier was found dead early this morning while he was on duty. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
He has been identified as Vijay Kumar (27), a resident of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan.
Initial reports suggest that the cause of death was the accidental discharge of a firearm. Further details are awaited. (GNS)
