SRINAGAR
The army Saturday said that they were ready to counter and effectively foil infiltration bids by militants along the border in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to CNS on the sidelines of passing out parade at Old Air Field Rangreth, General Officer Commanding 15 Corps, Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh, said situation in Hinterland is under control while Army is ready for any challenge.
He said that besides excellent coordination there is effective counter infiltration grid in place.
GOC declined to comment on the Tosamaidan row.
