SRINAGAR: Army on Saturday recovered an old mine near the Line of Control in the Balakote area of Poonch District and later destroyed it, according to officials.
They informed GNS (Global News Service) that the mine was found near the Sabra Ghali Balakote Sector in the Mendhar area of the district.
The Army’s Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) later destroyed the mine on the spot without causing any loss or injury to life. (GNS)
