The encounter between forces and suspected militants in north Kashmir’s Lolab valley has ended, army said.
Srinagar based defense spokesperson in a statement on Thursday evening said that three militants died in a gunbattle with forces in Potushai forests in Lolab.
The encounter had started around six this morning when 28RR came in contact with militants which ensued in a gunbattle.
The defence spokesperson further said that a large quantity of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the militants which includes three AK 47 rifles and three UBGLs besides other war like stores.
