During routine checking of passengers and their luggage at Railway Station Srinagar, a bootlegger was arrested and illicit liquor was recovered from his possession, a police statement said.
During checking by Government Railway Police officials 39 bottles of liquor were recovered from the possession of a bootlegger Rajinder Kumar son of Baljit Kumar resident of Tagood Chatroo, Kishtawar. A case FIR number 4/2016 under section 48 Excise Act registered in Police Station GRP Srinagar and investigation taken up.
