Nubra lawmaker, Deldan Namgiyal Tuesday urged the government that the residential areas occupied by army in Ladakh should be vacated.
Speaking on the grants in the Legislative Assembly, Namgyal said, “We are not against the army but we have to live and eat.”
He urged the government to take up the matter with the army and ask them to vacate from the habitable areas for the welfare of the people of Ladakh region.
