An army man was injured in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar sector of district Poonch on Friday, an army spokesperson said.
He said army was on a routine patrol duty in Mendhar sector when the army man accidentally stepped on a drifted mine near the (LoC) Mendhar Sector.
“The soldier suffered a fracture and is being treated in Udhampur Command hospital,” he said.
