SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday said that they have registered a case and also seized the army vehicle after it mowed down an elderly woman to death in Nadihal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
In a statement, issued to a local news agency Kashmir News Observer, police said that today an accident took place at Nadihal, in which an elderly woman was hit by an Army vehicle, and she died on spot.
The statement reads that the body of the woman was shifted to hospital for completion of medico legal formalities. (KNO)
