Strongly condemning the latest arrest spree in nook and corner of the valley, Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) on Saturday said that on one hand the men in uniform are killing our youth on one pretext or the other and on the other hand they are being arrested for raising their voice against the violence.
A JKDFP spokesperson denounced the ‘night raids in Budgam district especially Ompora area where several youths have been arrested’. The spokesman said that the fresh arrest spree has been started to crush the rising voices and such acts are sure to push the youth further to the wall and will have negative impressions.
Expressing serious concern over the increasing rights violations by the men in uniform in nook and corner of Kashmir, JKDFP said that arrests can not deter people from demanding their birthright.
The JKDFP spokesman stated that New Delhi must shun the path of unscrupulous strategy about Kashmir and adopt a policy which can pave way for the resolution of this long pending Kashmir issue. The resolution of the Kashmir dispute is sure to assure a flourishing subcontinent and a stable South Asia.
