Police on Saturday claimed that they have arrested two persons involved in ‘terror activities and terror funding’ from Awantipora area of district Pulwama, police said.
The two persons have been identified as Rafiq Ahmad Dar and Abid Majeed, both residents of Awantipora town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
In this regard, police have registered a case and further investigations have been taken up.
Furthermore, six individuals who were intending to join militancy were counselled with family members and subsequently handed over to their parents, police said.
