Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday said that any interference with state subject law of Jammu Kashmir will not be tolerated by the people of Kashmir.

The spokesman in a statement said that this issue is directly related to the right to self-determination and so we all need to fight for it with unity and steadfastness. Terming the state subject law and guarding it as matter of life and death for the people of Jammu Kashmir. Malik said that Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has announced a protest program and called for a complete shutdown on August 5 and 6, 2018 against any move to tinker with the state subject law.

He said that the intended onslaught on hereditary state subject law will face a stiff resistance from every citizen of Jammu Kashmir and Kashmiris will not even shy away from “spilling their blood” to safeguard their unique identity and character.

Malik also condemned the fresh NIA raid on incarcerated Women leader Syeda Asiya Andrabi who along with Fahmida Sofi and Nahida Nasreen is lodged at Mandawali Jail Delhi.
