SRINAGAR: On Saturday evening the J&K Police arrested the two sons of late Ashraf Sehrai, who died on 5 May at a hospital in Jammu during his imprisonment under Public Safety Act (PSA).
As per a local news agency Kashmir Dot Com, the family said that the duo was arrested from their residence at Bulbulbagh area of Barzulla, in Srinagar
They said a police party from Kupwara along with Srinagar police arrested Mujahid Sehrai and Rashid Sehrai, both sons of late Sehrai, and took them to Kupwara.
The news agency also quoted local sources adding that both the sons have been arrested in connection with a case registered against them on 6 May at the police station in Tekkipora-Sogam wherein slogans were raised while taking the body of late Sehrai to Tekkipora-Sogam graveyard in Kupwara for burial.
No police official was available for comments on the arrests made by Kupwara police in Srinagar.
