SRINAGAR: Aspire Heritage School delivered a standout performance at the 4th District Srinagar Taekwondo Championship, securing a total of 39 medals in a highly competitive event held at the Indoor Sports Complex Srinagar.

The two-day championship, conducted on April 15–16, witnessed participation from 26 schools and over 300 students across the district. Aspire Heritage School clinched 17 gold, 13 silver, and 9 bronze medals, marking one of the strongest showings in the tournament.

The medal ceremony was held on April 18, where the winning students were felicitated for their achievements.

Organisers said the championship aimed to promote physical fitness, discipline, and mental resilience among students. The school’s performance highlights its emphasis on integrating sports with academics as part of holistic education.

Officials noted that such events play a key role in encouraging youth participation in sports and fostering teamwork, confidence, and competitive spirit among students.
