Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday said that fifty eight Madrassas are getting financial assistance from Government.
Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar today informed that 58 madrassas (seminaries) have been provided financial assistance under ‘Scheme to Provide Quality Education in Madrassas’ (SPQEM) in Kashmir Division.
The Minister was replying to a question of Sofi Yousuf, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The Minister informed that these Madrassas have been provided assistance by the State government under centrally sponsored SPQEM programme.
