Normal business resumed in the Legislative Assembly of J&K Legislature on Monday in the on-going 2016-17 Budget Session.

The Lower House is discussing governance issues. The Question started with the Lawmaker Jeevan Lal’s concerns.

Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti is present in the house so are her other cabinet colleagues. BJP ministers including Dy CM are not in the house, however, Social Welfare Minister is sitting next to FinMin Dr Haseeb A Drabu.

While debate is going on, former speaker and minister and NC veteran representing Sonawari assembly segment, Mohammad Akbar Lone alleged that PDP-BJP government has allotted I&FC work with following the procedures.

“Blue eyed including those who are PDP voters have been given work without tenders in Shadipora division,” he told the house.

Responding to allegations of Opposition Lawmaker, Minister Ab Haq Khan assured the house that “if the allegations are proved, action will follow”.

As MoS Asiya Naqash is busy responding supplementaries of the lawmakers, Ministers including FinMin and Zahoor Mir were seen discussing things with CM one after the other.
