As soon as the business resumed in Lower House of state legislature on Thursday, the opposition members led by National Conference walked into Well seeking sacking of BJP Minister Ab Gani Kohli.
The Opposition members said that Kohli has allegedly misused his position and has encroached upon government land in Jammu.
Demanding roll back of SRO 105, they said that the minister be sacked forthwith.
Responding to the accusations, the government said that the matter is sub-judice and the issue can’t be debated in the house. The Opposition members were waving a newspaper saying that the issue is in public and the minister has violated his public office.
“The DC Jammu be asked to come up with a report only today,” Congress’ Nawang Rigzin Jora said.
Later, the Opposition members walked out of the house. However, treasury benches continued with the question hour.
