The lower house of the Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly Tuesday witnessed heated arguments after the Langate lawmaker, Er Rasheed accused PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control minister of having created a transfer industry to the department.
Rasheed leveled allegation that “for the transfer of the AEE in the department the rate of transfer has been fixed at Rs 8 lac.”
This led to heated arguments between Rasheed and treasury benches.
BJP MLA Raiviner Rana asked Rasheed to prove it in the house or otherwise stop resorting to allegations.
Meanwhile, while reacting to the allegations, minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary said that he will resign if the allegation made by the lawmaker or proven true.
