With Autumn session of Legislative Assembly beginning tomorrow, police have put in place a three-tier security apparatus outside Assembly Complex to avoid occurrence of any untoward incident during the on-going session.

In this regard, movement of vehicles and people in and outside Civil Secretariat, where Assembly Complex is located, would be thoroughly monitored by police both manually and through CCTVs.

“We have made adequate security arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of Legislative Assembly session. A three-tier security apparatus has been put in place outside Assembly Complex,” DIG Central Kashmir Ghulam Hassan Bhat told KNS.

He said that police are alert on every front, and nobody will be allowed to create law and order problem.

Meanwhile, sources said that police are extra alert this time owing to increased militant activities during past few months in and around Srinagar.
