At Minus 4.8 Degrees Celsius, Srinagar Records Season’s Coldest Night

   

SRINAGAR: The minimum temperature has plummeted further in Kashmir parts with Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir recording the coldest night of the season at minus 4.8 degrees Celsius.

The sub-zero temperature has been recorded across all the stations.

In Qazigund, the mercury settled at minus 3.4 degrees Celsius while in Gulmarg, a minimum temperature of minus 3.6 degrees Celsius was recorded.

Pahalgam, a famous tourist place, recorded a low of minus 4.7 degrees Celsius while Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.0 degrees Celsius. (KNO)
