Suspected militants Sunday late evening attacked residential house of minister in Mehbooba Mufti led cabinet, Syed Farooq Andrabi.
According to reports, the attack was carried on Andrabi’s house at Shishter Gaam Dooru in South Kashmir.
Andrabi is close relative of Mehbooba and was inducted after she took over as Chief Minister of state in April 2016. A first time MLA, Andrabi is minister of State for Haj & Auqaf (Independent charge), PHE and Irrigation & Flood Control, Power Development, Industries & Commerce.
He represents Dooru constituency in state assembly after he defeated Ghulam Ahmad Mir of congress.
Pertinently South Kashmir is going to polls in next month.
