According to the Regional Transport Officer Kashmir all learners’ license holders who have deposited driving test fee have been asked to approach RTO office for the driving test upto January 10, 2017, after which their test fee shall become invalid.
The RTO according to spokesman said that the step has been taken in view of the shifting to new Licensing Software (Sarathi 4.0 version). He further said that no learners’ licenses shall be issued from December 21, 2016 to January 10, 2017, after which the form for learner’s license can be submitted online at www.parivahan.gov.in.
He also said no learners’ license or permanent driving license fee shall be accepted during the above said period
