Authorities Friday foiled the protest march of JKLF activists in Srinagar and detained dozens of its leaders.
The protest was called against the use of pellet guns and pepper gas by forces on protesters in the valley and against the prolonged detention of incarcerated Prof SAR Geelani.
A protest march was also scheduled against the harassment of Kashmiri students across Indian states.
Police detained dozens of our leaders and activists and didn’t allow us to take out the peaceful march, a JKLF activist said.
