According to Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, people residing in snow bound areas are advised not to venture into steep avalanche prone areas and sloops besides nearby forests in view of the high danger apprehensions of avalanches in Gulmarg sector, Chowkibal, Tangdhar sectors and medium danger avalanche warning for Uri, Nowgam-Keran sector, Machil sector, Bandipora-Gurez sector, Sonamarg, Drass and Kargil sectors from February 06 to 07, 2013.
