SRINAGAR: Authorities on Saturday have issued a “low danger” avalanche warning in the higher reaches of Bandipora and Baramulla districts of Kashmir valley during the next 24 hours.
Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) said that “Avalanche with medium danger level is likely to occur above 2400 metres over Bandipore in next 24 hours.People are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas”
Similarly, for Baramula district, it said that “Avalanche with medium danger level is likely to occur above 2800 metres over Baramula in next 24 hours.People are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas. Dial-112 for any help”.
