Authorities suspended the Internet service on Friday in parts of south Kashmir following the killing of two militants in Braw Bandina area of Awantipora.

Reports said the Internet service was snapped in the twin districts of Pulwama and Shopian as a “precautionary measure” to avoid any disturbances.

Earlier, two militants were killed during an ongoing gunfight between the militants and government forces in Braw Bandina area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday morning.
