in a tragic incident, at least twenty-six persons were injured on Friday morning after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that a bus bearing registration number JK02A-U2917 lost its control and turned turtle at on district’s Gadsoo-Pul road. The bus was on its way from Doda to Jammu when the tragic accident took place. In the mishap, twenty-six persons sustained injuries. Among the injured persons, five to six people are said to be critical.
Soon after the incident, the injured persons were subsequently evacuated to Doda hospital for the treatment.
Meanwhile, authorities have stopped the vehicle movement for some time to avoid further incidents.
