He said that NIA on June 28 again summoned Altaf Ahmad Shah to Delhi while as Raja Meraj ud Din was served with a notice from the said agency.

In response to summons issued from NIA, both leaders had booked their tickets with Indigo Airlines and were to depart for Delhi on Wednesday morning at 7:30 am, however, on Monday June 27, the state police arrested Altaf Ahmad Shah, Raja Meraj ud Din and Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar and were taken under preventive custody after police produced them before a magistrate and obtained proper remand.
