Mobile internet service was suspended on Wednesday in Shopian and Pulwama districts of south Kashmir following the ongoing gunfight between the government forces and militants in the Badigam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

According to the local sources, the internet services were snapped soon after the news of gunfight spread in twin districts of South Kashmir following the ongoing gunfight.

The service has been stopped as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident.
