Employees of Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Friday morning staged a protest demonstration outside the Zonal Headquarters of the bank at Maulana Azad road in Srinagar.
Scores of the employees today morning assembled outside the Zonal Headquarters of the bank at M A road, on a second consecutive day to demand a rollback of the recent SAC decision to turn the bank into a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).
Employees carrying placards and banners which read; “’Roll Back SAC decision’ and “J&K Bank is a wonderful institution, let it remain wonderful,” demanded the revocation of the order passed by the State Administrative Council (SAC).
The protesting employees said that they will continue to hit the streets if the decision was not revoked.
