SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday issued the following statement regarding Baramulla attack saying that today at about 1315hrs militants lobbed a grenade near Azadgunj Bridge area of Baramulla over Army convoy which exploded on road resulting in injuries to seven civilians.
A police spokesman said that all the injured were shifted to the hospital for the treatment of their injuries.
He said that police continues to work to establish the full circumstances of this crime incident.
“Case FIR No. 147/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation taken up. The area has been cordoned off, search in the area is in progress,” said the spokesman.
