F&ES officials commended local firefighting units for their frontline efforts, emphasizing their swift response and dedication in mitigating the impact of incidents.

The department has undertaken various measures to decrease fire incidents, including public awareness campaigns about cautious electronic gadget use, especially during winter months.

Officials urged people to remain vigilant, prioritize fire safety measures, install smoke detectors on every home level, and ensure the availability of fire extinguishers. They also advised creating an evacuation plan for emergencies.

Adhering to these recommendations can contribute to a safer living environment, underscoring the crucial role individuals play in maintaining their safety, according to officials. (KNO)
