Baramulla police on Sunday has arrested two persons involved in burglary crime.
The spokesman said on 29th of January 2018, Police Station Uri received a written complaint from one person identified as Mohammed Amin Mir son of Shahwali Mir resident of Banali Boniyar wherein he stated that during intervening night of 18/19 of January 2018, some unknown burglars looted his mobile shop located in Uri market and have stolen mobile phones.
During the course of the investigation, a number of suspects were called for questioning. During questioning two persons identified as Sajad Ahmad and Shakoor Ahmad, residents of Garkote Uri confessed their crime and on their instance, stolen property was recovered.
In this regard, a case FIR number 05/2018 under section 457, 380 RPC was registered in Police st6ation Uri.
