SRINAGAR: Police on Saturday attached properties of two proclaimed offenders in Baramulla under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
A police spokesperson in a statement said, “The attachment was carried out in accordance with the orders of the Hon’ble Special Judge designated under UAPA, Baramulla, dated 17 April 2025. The properties belonged to individuals accused in FIR No. 02/2008, registered at Police Station Chandoosa under sections 2/3 of the EMICO Act, 120-B and 121 of the RPC, and Section 13 of the UA(P) Act.”
The attachments were executed in the presence of the Executive Magistrate of Kreeri and Fatehgarh, along with Numbardars and Chowkidars of the respective areas, in line with legal procedures.
“01 Kanal and 10 Marlas of land under Survey No. 264/min at Lalpora Laridora belonged to Abdullah Shah Bukhari, son of Syed Mohammad Yousuf, a resident of Lalpora Laridora. Additionally, 13 Marlas under Survey No. 156/min at Takiya Yousuf Shah belonged to Ghulam Rasool Chopan, son of Abdul Salaam Chopan, a resident of Takiya Yousuf Shah,” it reads.
