JKLF chairperson, Muhammad Yasin Malik, shall sit on a token hunger strike on September 22 against the barbaric and mysterious killings going on in Kashmir.

“Growing incidents of mysterious killings are a conspiracy to damage freedom struggle of Kashmiris. Kashmiris will not remain silent spectators over these gruesome killings. International community should probe these killings so that the faces behind this bloodshed are exposed. I along with others will sit on a one day token hunger strike on Tuesday, 22nd September 2015, against these killings,” Muhammad Yasin Malik said in a JKLF statement Saturday evening.

“In past JKLF usually has been holding these kinds of protest hunger strikes at its headquarters Maisuma but in view of Eid ul Azha and to save common people and shopkeepers from any hardship, this token protest hunger strike will be held at Pratap Park Srinagar (Insha Allah),” the JKLF statement said.

Malik condemned the brutal killings of three more innocents at Sopore and Kunzar that included a three year old child Burhan. “These mysterious killings have opened a new chapter of brutality and barbarism and Kashmiris will not and cannot remain silent on this tyranny. Only an international probe into these gruesome killings could expose the faces of real killers,” the statement said.

Malik appealed the international community to come to the rescue of innocent Kashmiris and hold an impartial probe to expose the ugly faces behind these recent mysterious killings.
