An indigenous designer, Pureweave known for giving Kashmir its first Kaftaan style, has opened its first complete brand outlet in Srinagar.
Giving details, Managing Director of CMA group of industries – a holding company of Pureweave – Adil Mir said, “ours being the first firm which is credited to have given Kashmir Kaftaan designs, we have set up an exclusive Kaftaan showroom in Hotel Comrade Inn in Rajbagh.”
Adil said that up till now, Pureweave would only provide online shopping service but now “our customers will have to just pay a single visit to our showroom and get the best designs of Kaftaan.”
Notably, Pureweave is the first Kashmir firm which only buys raw material from outside Kashmir and cutting and designing of the dresses in done at their industrial unit in uptown Srinagar at Rawalpora.
With state-of-art machinery, Pureweave has emerged as the indigenous Kashmiri brand.
“Made in Kashmir,” Adil asserted, “is what we believe in!”
