Srinagar
Barring south Kashmir areas, normal life resumed in rest of the valley on Saturday after a daylong shutdown following a shutdown call by Joint Resistance Leadership against the recent killings.
Shops, business establishments, government and private offices opened across the valley and both private and public transport plied normally.
A large number of people were seen busy in purchasing different household items from the market.
However, a partial shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district, while Pulwama and Shopian districts are completely closed.
The valley-wide shutdown call was given by Joint resistance Leadership against recent killings in Kashmir.
