Noted poet and broadcaster Bashir Arif on Thursday assumed charge of director Radio Kashmir (RK) and Commercial Broad Casting Service (CBSE) Srinagar.
Before assuming charge, Arif according to the order of Prasar Bharti was promoted to the rank of deputy director general.
Earlier there were separate directors for the radio Kashmir and CBSE, but insiders say that ‘the lack of people at top level is compelling factor to have one director.’
under the dynamic leadership of the competent broadcaster Mr Arif ,it is now sure that Radio Kashmir shall regain its popularity amongst the masses .Heartiest congratulation to Mr. Arif for assuming the charge .
